Wireless Android Auto | How to Connect Android Auto Without USB Cable

In today's blog, I am going to tell you How to connect your Android Auto without using the USB cable to your Android Car head unit.

• On your phone open Android Auto Application.

• Then click on the 3 lines that visible at the top.

• Then go to Settings.

• Then you have to enable Wireless Projection.

• Now go back and exit the app.

• And go to your home screen.

• Then next is go to your Android head unit.

• Then go to the play store and download the Head Unit Reloaded.

• There are two apps.

• One is the trial version and the other is paid version.

• But you might want to try the trial version.

• First, before downloading the paid version.

• I already download the trial version.

• And it works for me that's why I downloaded the paid version.

• So once you download either of two.

• Go to your phone.

• And open the Play Store.

• You have to download one more app to connect your Android Auto wirelessly.

• So search Wi-Fi Launcher.

• Then install the Wi-Fi Launcher Application.

• Then open the Wi-Fi Launcher App.

• And then you need to allow the app to display over the apps.

• So just tap ok and then allow permission.

• And then Allow Wi-Fi Launcher to access the device location.

• Now you have to make a hot spot on your Android Car Head Unit with this Wi-Fi name and password.

• So go to your Android Car Head Unit.

• Then go to Settings.

• Then go to Network and Internet.

• Then modified your portable hotspot by changing the Wi-Fi name.

• Now click on Setup Wi-Fi hotspot.

• Then change the Wi-Fi name to HUR.

• Now change the password to AndroidAutoConnect.

• When you're done just click Save.

• Now activate the Wi-Fi hotspot by switching it on.

• Now go on to your phone.

• Then connect to HUR on your Wi-Fi settings.

• Now tap HUR and you have to enter the password which is the AndroidAutoConnect.

• On your Android Head Unit, open head unit reloaded.

• So I'm going to tap cancel because we're not going to connect via USB cable.

• Now on the Wi-Fi Launcher app on your phone.

• Look for the Advance options.

• Just enable Add Force Connect Button.

• Then tap on Start Wi-Fi service manually.

• So if you tap on that your Android auto will connect wirelessly to your car head unit.

• Your head unit screen the android auto is now wirelessly connected.

• In this way, you can connect the Android Auto Wirelessly.
