Fix ELDEN RING Graphics issue on PC Problem Solved

Today in this article I'm going to tell you how to fix the graphics issues with Elden Ring game on your windows computer.

Step 1: Laptop users with a dual graphics card- Run the game on the dedicated graphics card

The first step is for laptop users with dual graphic cards make sure that you are running the game on the dedicated graphic card for this type in graphics settings in the windows search box and then click on graphics settings now go to browse click on it and then go to the game installation folder so in your case it might be in c drive so open c drive program files x86 then open the steam folder then open the steam apps folder then open the common folder and then you will find the game folder in my case it's in d drive so open the steam folder steam apps common and then open the Elden Ring game folder and then open the game folder now select the game exe file and then click on add.

Now once the game is added over here click on options select high performance then click on save the same thing with do the same thing on Nvidia control panel so you can do the same thing on the Nvidia control panel make a right click then click on Nvidia control panel this will open Nvidia control panel go to manage 3d settings then go to program settings then click on add again go to the game installation folder or select the game from the list if you don't see the game over here click on add selected program if you don't see the game over here then again go to the game installation folder so open the steam folder steam apps common elderly game and then select the game exe file then click on open and once the exe file is added over here from the drop-down options select high-performance Nvidia processor over here and on the bottom right here you can see apply option click on apply and then launch the game.

Step 2: Desktop Users: Connect the display cable to the dedicated graphics card instead of the integrated card (motherboard slot)

Now the next step is for desktop users you can do the same thing if that does not help then you can connect the display cable to the dedicated graphic cards so the desktop your tower must be having if your computer has a dual graphic card then there is one graphic port in the motherboard so in motherboard slot you will find the graphic card and that is integrated one so do not connect to that integrated graphic card connect to the dedicated graphic card so on the back of the tower or in front you must be having a slot for dedicated graphic cards so connect your display cable it may be this display port you can connect to DisplayPort or HDMI port and then when you connect the cable to the dedicated graphics card now launch the game.

Step 3: Do a clean installation of graphics

AMD Website - https://www.amd.com/en/support

The next step is to do a clean installation of your graphics driver if you have an Nvidia card go to the Nvidia website if you have an AMD card go to the AMD website I am showing for NVIDIA go to the Nvidia website and select your graphic card from the list make sure that you select your graphic card over here and select the right operating system so if you have Windows 11 select Windows 11 if you have Windows 10 select Windows 10 then click on start search now scroll down over here you can see this is the latest GeForce game ready driver so install this GeForce game, ready driver, right now the driver version is 526 period 98 this is the latest one right now so whichever is the latest click on get download and then again click on download.

Now let the download complete once the download is complete run the exe file then you will see the screen click on agree and continue and then put a check on the box which is custom and then click on next then again put a check on the box which says perform a clean installation make sure that you put a check over here first and then click on next and let the installation complete now once the installation is complete make sure that you restart your computer.

Step 4: Verify the game files

Now the next step is to verify the game file for this go to steam make click on the game select properties go to the local files tab and then click on verify the integrity of game files after the verification launch the game.

Step 5: Run the game in Windowed mode and lower down settings

Now the next step is to run the game in window mode and lower down graphics settings now for this first of all launch the game now after you launch the game go to the system and then go to this display option over here and then from the full screen you can switch to window mode click on yes and then you can set the quality to medium or low so I will select medium you can even select low and then you can also lower down resolution so if you want you can lower down the resolution so, for now, I will select let me select this click on yes so try to lower down the resolution as well and then go to advanced settings and from here you can go ahead and lower down your graphics settings so if everything is set to high you can set it to medium or low and then check the performance.

Step 6: Update your Windows

Now the last step is to update your windows to the latest version for this go to the start menu then click on settings go to update and security or windows update and then click on check for the update once the update is installed restart your computer and then launch the game.
