Method 1: Check The Game Disc
Firstly, check the game disc. To do that, press the options button on the Dual Shock 4 with the videogame highlighted on the Home menu. Scroll down to Remove Disc. Press X on "Remove Disc". Next step, turn off your PS4, then unplug the PS4 from the power outlet and keep it disconnected for 3-5 minutes before plugging the cable into the outlet again. While waiting, check the underside of the disc. Dust, fingerprints, or scratches may cause the disc to malfunction. To clean a dirty disc, use a soft, dry cloth to carefully wipe the disc from the center outward as follows. Now, plug the cable into the outlet again and turn on PS4. Insert the cleaned disc back into the PS4 again to see if you are still getting the same CE-30005-8 error code as before. You can also try out another PS4 game disc to see if the problem is a problem with the game disc.
Method 2: Restoring the License
Just go to Settings. Select Account Management. Select Restore License. Restoring your licenses may take several seconds to minutes, depending on the number of licenses you have and your internet connection.
Method 3: Checking the External Hard Drive and the Internal Hard Drive
First, ensure that your PS4's system software is always up to date. Please complete the system update before proceeding to install the games. Because, if you try to install a game using the disc when a PS4 update is installed, it may display the problem in question. Now, eject any external HDDs that are connected to the PS4. Follow these instructions to run a computer error check. Step 1: Connect the PS4 HDD to a computer. Step 2: Open Windows Explorer. Choose the last option, “Properties,” when performing a right-click on the HDD’s icon. Step 3: Select the “Tools” tab. Click “Check” under “Error Checking.” The error checking needs to begin. Once it’s finished, you can re-plug the PS4’s HDD. If the error persists, you may need to use a different HDD.
Method 4: Delete Game Data
To do that, you must first back up the saved data using either a USB storage device or an online cloud service if you are a Playstation Plus member. Both options are located in the “Settings” menu, which is located by pressing up from the home menu and then scrolling right. You should then select “Application Saved Data Management,” and, subsequently, “Saved Data in System Storage.” Once that is done, go select the problematic game and then press the Options button in order to bring up the “Delete” option. Re-install the game data from the disc, which should automatically happen. Afterward, restore your saved data via the PlayStation Plus online storage or USB device from the same “Application Saved Data Management” option of the “Settings” menu.
Method 5: Rebuild PS4 Database
Turn off the PS4 completely (i.e. not in Rest Mode). Once off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you’ve heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another about seven seconds later. This will boot the PS4 into Safe Mode. Connect a DualShock 4 controller with a USB cable and press the PS button on the controller. Select the option Rebuild Database. It will warn you that it may take hours. Most of the time, this solution resolves the problem. I advise getting in touch with the nearby Sony service center if the issue continues.
