How to disable or turn off Google Assistant or "Hey Google" on any Android device. Firstly, open your Android device settings by launching the settings application. Scroll down and click on "Google". Then, click on "All Services" and scroll down to find "Settings for Google apps". Click on "Search, Assistant and Voice" and then click on "Google Assistant". Now, click on "Hey Google" and "Voice Match". Toggle the "Hey Google" option off. If you use driving apps like Google Maps or Android Auto, you can still use "Hey Google" while driving by turning on the driving setting. To turn off driving setting, go to the settings of any of these apps and toggle it off. Once you have followed these steps, you can disable "Hey Google" on any Android device.
