  • Now for this go to the Activision website.

  • Open this link in a browser it will take you to the activision.com website.
  • Now over there if you don't have an account click on sign up.
  • So if you don't have an account you have to create an account.
  • So you can enter your email and then sign up.
  • If you already have an account then click on login.
  • Now enter your email and password.
  • Then click on sign in.
  • Now once you're logged in on the top right over there you can see the profile icon click on the profile icon.
  • Now under profile go to account linking.
  • Now over there you can see the Battle.net account.
  • Now if you have purchased the game from Blizzard from battle.net in that case over there you will see a Battle.net account.
  • And you will see an option to link.
  • So click on the link account it will take you to the Battle.net website and then link your Battle.net account with Activision.
  • And then once done now launch the game once again and then try to log in.
  • Now if you purchase the game on Steam.
  • I have purchased the game on Steam.
  • So if you purchase the game on Steam over there you can see the option which says link with steam account.
  • Then click on the link account.
  • Now send the code now check your email address
  • So over there you have received a code on your email enter the code over there.
  • Then click on submit.
  • Again click on the link account.
  • Now click on continue it will take you to the steam website.
  • Now click on sign in.
  • Now over there you can see Steam account is linked to Activision.
  • Now you can launch the game.
  • And after you launch the game you can log in and you should not receive the error message again.
  • If still you are facing the problem in that case unlink and link again.
  • You have purchased the game from battle.net if you see the unlink option click on unlink again it will send you a code.
  • Now once you click on unlink.
  • If you purchase the game from Steam.
  • then again click on the link account again it will be asking you it will take you to the steam website and if it is asking for the code enter the code.
  • And then click on sign in.
  • Do the same thing with the Battle.net account.
  • Now once this is linked again.
  • Now over there it's linked.
  • Now try to launch the game once again.
  • Now the next step is to make a new activation account.
  • And then link again.
  • So you can simply log out from there and then you can click on sign up.
  • And this time maybe enter a different email address and then sign up.
  • Now once you sign up again log in and again link your Steam and Battle.net accounts.
  • So you can create a new Activision account.
